This website ("Site") is owned by Sidoroff UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("We", "Us" or "Resume Master"). We are providing you with access to this Site and our services (the "Services") subject to the following terms and conditions.

By browsing, accessing, using or registering on this Site or using Our Services, you are agreeing to all of the following terms and conditions, including any policies referred to herein (collectively, these "Terms"). If you are unwilling to be bound by these Terms, you should not use our Services.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old or visiting this Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

1. USE LICENSE

Permission is granted to use our Services for personal resume creation and job seeking purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Use the Services for any commercial purpose other than creating your own resumes
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Services
Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained in our Services
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services
Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Resume Master at any time.

2. ACCOUNT

To access our Services, you may be required to register and create an account with a password and user name.

If you register, you agree to provide us with accurate and complete registration information, and to inform us immediately of any updates or changes to such information.

You are solely responsible for protecting the security and confidentiality of your password and account. You shall immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ACCESS TO AND USE OF OUR SERVICES BY ANYONE USING YOUR ACCOUNT, whether or not such access is actually authorized by you, including all communications, transmissions, and all obligations (including financial obligations) incurred through such access or use.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Resume Master provides AI-powered resume optimization tools including:

Resume Analysis: AI-powered ATS compatibility checking and optimization suggestions
Resume Builder: Professional resume templates with editing tools
Cover Letter Writer: AI-assisted cover letter creation and optimization
Job Matching: Skills gap analysis and resume-to-job compatibility scoring
PDF Export: Professional PDF generation with ATS-optimized formatting
Additional Features: Analytics, interview preparation tools, and other tools as available in your subscription plan

AI-Powered Features:
Our Services use artificial intelligence to analyze and provide recommendations for your resumes and cover letters. AI provides suggestions only - you retain full control over all changes and decisions. AI recommendations may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed critically.

Important Limitations:
We provide software tools to help you create resumes and cover letters. We do NOT:

Guarantee job interviews or employment outcomes
Provide career counseling or professional advice
Guarantee ATS compatibility with all employers' systems
Verify the accuracy of information you provide
Write resumes or cover letters for you (you create content with AI assistance)

Success in your job search depends on many factors beyond resume optimization, including the job market, your qualifications, your application strategy, and employer preferences.

4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND PRICING

4.1 Available Plans

We offer various subscription options including free and paid plans with different features and usage limits. Current plans, pricing, and features are displayed on our website at resume-master.app/pricing.

4.2 Subscription Types

Monthly Subscriptions:
Your subscription will continue for a period of 30 days. When you purchase a monthly subscription, auto-renew is automatically selected. At the end of the monthly period, you will automatically be signed up and billed for an additional 30-day term. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel prior to the end of your current subscription term.

Annual Subscriptions:
Your subscription will continue for a period of one year, paid in full in advance. When you purchase an annual subscription, auto-renew is automatically selected. At the end of the annual period, you will automatically be signed up and billed for an additional one-year term. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel prior to the end of your current subscription term.

Free Trials:
We may offer free trial periods for new subscribers. Trial terms are displayed during signup. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4.3 General Terms for All Subscriptions

Subscriptions and one-off services are non-returnable. You may cancel your subscription, but no refunds will be paid on any remaining subscription period, except as required by law or as stated in Section 5.3.

An internet connection is required to use and manage your subscription. Subscription pricing is subject to change with advance notice as described in Section 4.4.

Important: By upgrading to a paid subscription, you grant us explicit consent to begin providing Services immediately, before expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period (see Section 14). You acknowledge that your right to withdraw from the subscription within the 14-day period will be lost once you use premium features.

4.4 Changes in Pricing

We may change the price of any subscription from time to time. We will provide you with advance notice of changes in recurring subscription fees. Any increase in charges will not apply until the expiration of your then current billing cycle. If you do not agree to pay the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Payment Methods

Only valid credit cards, debit cards, or other payment methods acceptable to us may be used. By submitting your order, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorize us to charge your order (including taxes and any other amounts) to that method.

All prices include applicable German VAT (currently 19%) where required by law.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

We accept debit and credit cards and other forms of payment for subscriptions. When you purchase a subscription that renews automatically, you agree that we may process your payment on each monthly, annual, or other renewal term, on or near the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your subscription.

If your subscription began on a day not contained in a subsequent month (e.g., your service began on January 30, and there is no February 30), we will process your payment on or near the last day of such month.

5.3 Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee:
We may provide new users with a 14-day money-back guarantee. The guarantee applies only once to the same user. Contact support@resume-master.app to request a refund.

Withdrawal Right:
EU and German consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. See Section 14 for complete information.

No Other Refunds:
Except as stated above, subscriptions are non-refundable. You will remain on your subscription until the last paid period expires.

6. USER CONTENT AND OWNERSHIP

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to our Services, including your resumes, cover letters, and personal information ("User Content").

By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you own or have rights to all content you upload, and that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate any laws.

We do not claim ownership of your resumes or cover letters, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, software, designs, templates, logos, and other materials provided by Resume Master (excluding your User Content) are owned by Sidoroff UG (haftungsbeschränkt) or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any of our materials except as expressly authorized by us. Any unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.

Resume Templates: You may use our templates to create your resumes for personal use. You may not resell or redistribute our templates.

8. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use our Services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property rights of others
Create fake, misleading, or fraudulent resumes or cover letters
Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use automated tools without permission
Resell access to our Services
Develop competing products or services
Use the Services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure

If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately without refund.

9. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND MODIFICATIONS

We strive to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue Services or features with reasonable notice
Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
Update our technology and infrastructure
Change the user interface and design

We are not responsible for:

Service interruptions or outages
Failures of third-party services (payment processors, hosting providers, etc.)
Your internet connectivity issues
Errors or bugs in the software

10. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS

10.1 Limited Warranty

We warrant that our Services will substantially conform to their described functionality under normal use.

10.2 Disclaimer

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS."

We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Services will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Important: AI suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review all AI recommendations critically. We do not guarantee employment outcomes or ATS compatibility.

10.3 Mandatory Warranties Under German Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

Intentional misconduct or gross negligence
Injury to life, body, or health
Defects that were fraudulently concealed
Warranties that cannot be excluded under German consumer protection law

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

11.1 Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by German law:

We are NOT liable for:

Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, revenue, or data
Damages from use or inability to use Services
Damages from third-party actions

11.2 Exceptions (German Law)

The above limitations DO NOT apply to:

Intentional misconduct (Vorsatz)
Gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit)
Injury to life, body, or health
Breach of fundamental contractual obligations
Fraudulent concealment of defects
Liability under the Product Liability Act

For simple negligence: We are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages.

11.3 Maximum Liability

Where liability is permitted but limited, our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €100 for free users).

12. TERMINATION

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate at any time by closing your account or canceling your subscription. You will retain access until the end of your current paid period. No refund will be provided for remaining time.

Your account will be automatically cancelled after 5 years from your last login.

12.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause. If we block your access without reason, you have a right to a refund of the proportional part of your subscription for the remaining period.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your license to use Services ends immediately
You may download your content within 30 days
After 30 days, your account and data will be deleted
Payment records are retained for 10 years as required by German tax law

13. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Your Rights: Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, port your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

14. WITHDRAWAL RIGHT (Widerrufsrecht)

14.1 Right of Withdrawal

EU and German consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the date of contract conclusion (when you purchase a subscription).

14.2 How to Exercise Withdrawal Right

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by email to:

14.3 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same payment method you used unless you agree otherwise.

14.4 Loss of Withdrawal Right

IMPORTANT: By subscribing, you explicitly request that we begin providing Services immediately before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.

Your right of withdrawal is lost if:

You use premium features during the 14-day period
We have fully performed our Services with your prior express consent
You acknowledge that you will lose your withdrawal right upon using premium features

Once you use premium features, the 14-day money-back guarantee (Section 5.3) applies instead of the statutory withdrawal right.

15. COMMUNICATIONS

When you use our Services or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically via email or notices posted on our Site.

You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

We may use your personal information to reach out to you with newsletters, marketing, or promotional materials. You can opt out of receiving marketing communications by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

For business customers (B2B), the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Leipzig, Germany.

For consumers (B2C), statutory jurisdiction rules apply. You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence.

EU Online Dispute Resolution: EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are not obligated to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time.

For material changes affecting your rights:

We will provide 30 days' advance notice via email
Changes become effective on the stated date
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance

For minor changes (clarifications, corrections):

We will update the "Last Updated" date
Changes may be effective immediately

If you do not agree to changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

18. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
